Mississippi State Football Depth Chart for Texas: New Starters for Bulldogs

Bulldogs to debut new starting quarterback and running backs against top-ranked Longhorns

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State's depth chart has undergone a few changes as the Bulldogs prepare to face No. 1 Texas.

One of those changes was expected with Mississippi State announcing quarterback Blake Shapen will miss the rest of the 2024 season with a shoulder injury. Michael Van Buren is as the team's starting quarterback.

Another significant change is at running back where Keyvone Lee will miss several weeks and Davon Booth is listed as the team's starting running back.
