Early Signing Day Tracker: Who Mississippi State is Adding

Early Signing Day is officially upon us, despite the start of the 2023 college football season still looming several months away.

Mississippi State has landed several highly-touted recruits in the last class that late head coach Mike Leach ever recruited as the Bulldogs are poised to build upon a strong season next year.

Here's a look at the latest with several recruits furthering their commitment to the Starkville squad:

Mississippi State officially lands 3-star cornerback Luke Evans, who recently flipped from Cincinnati.

Evans is rated as the No. 90 overall prospect nationally in the 2023 class and the No. 51 cornerback in the country.

Mississippi State adding 3-star RB Seth Davis on Early Signing Day.

Nation’s No. 43 running back and the 99th-ranked overall prospect out of the state of Texas.

Whittlemore was heavily projected to land with the Gators -- ranked nationally as the No. 13 ATH, No. 62 overall prospect in FL.
