Look: Mississippi State Football Releases New Uniforms Ahead of 2023 Season

Mississippi State football unveiled its new uniforms ahead of the 2023 season.

Mississippi State football has some new threads heading into the 2023 season, as the Bulldogs announced at the start of the week Monday.

The biggest change is the program moving on to the script "State" helmets as the primary helmet, something that's been a popular idea for a while and has been incredibly well-received by the fan base now that it's official.

The Bulldogs have also done away with shoulder numbers, the gray outline on the state of Mississippi logo, the contrasting collar and the logo on the pants. The uniforms will also feature double maroon pants stripes, a Mississippi State logo at the center of the front of the collar and double white stripe sleeves.

Here's a complete look at the compare and contrast of MSU's 2022 uniforms and the one the team is set to take the field with in 2023:

The Bulldogs are set to open the season in Zach Arnett's first year as the team's head coach with a matchup against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions on Sept. 2 at 3 p.m. CT in Starkville, Mississippi.
