Highlights: Alabama Tops Mississippi State, 40-17

Looking back on some of the biggest plays on both sides from Mississippi State's 40-17 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Mississippi State (2-3) came up short yet again in Saturday's contest against the No. 12-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, falling 40-17 in Davis Wade Stadium.

With this, the Bulldogs are now on a three-game losing streak without a win in SEC play between losses to the LSU Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks preceding this one.

Bulldogs head coach Zach Arnett has expressed heading into the Week 6 matchup against the Western Michigan Broncos that he wants to see his team play "angry" as MSU desperately looks to get back to the win column in what should be a tune-up game for the team.

MSU has a plethora of issues to fix both offensively and defensively, but there were some bright spots as the Bulldogs actually came out with the momentum against Alabama into the second quarter, though it would slip away and never be regained.

Here's a look at some of the biggest plays of the game for both Alabama and MSU:
