  • The Mississippi State defense limited Ole Miss to a season-low 96 passing yards in the Egg Bowl. It's the lowest passing total by the Rebels under Lane Kiffin. 
  • Linebacker Nathaniel Watson led the team with 21 tackles, tying his career-high that he set last week. He is the first MSU player to record 20-plus tackles in back-to-back weeks since at least 2000 when the tackle became an official statistic. 
  • Quarterback Will Rogers set a school record for the most career passing yards in the Egg Bowl with 1,222.
