12 Mississippi State Players Earn Spots On Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist

Several Mississippi State football players added to their preseason recognition after making the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List ahead of the 2023 season.

One of the most anticipated watch lists of the offseason is that of the Reese's Senior Bowl, and 12 Mississippi State football players saw their names listed in the latest edition that had 720 names on it.

The MSU seniors named to the list are as follows: linebacker Nathaniel Watson, wide receiver Jaden Walley, quarterback Will Rogers, wide receiver Justin Robinson, defensive back Decamerion Richardson, defensive lineman Nathan Pickering, running back Jo'Quavious Marks, offensive lineman Steven Losoya III, offensive lineman Nick Jones, offensive lineman Kameron Jones, wide receiver Lideatrick "Tulu" Griffin and defensive lineman Jaden Crumedy.

Among standouts here is Griffin, popularly known by teammates as "Tulu", who has received preseason honors left and right. He's been named to the preseason All-SEC Team, was a preseason All-American and was also named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List for 2023.

After leading the nation in return yards in 2022, Griffin is poised to make his senior year even more memorable than seasons past.

Watson will also be a player to keep an eye on as the Bulldog from Maplesville, Alabama also has several watch lists, including the 2023 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List and preseason All-SEC Team. Better known by teammates as "Bookie", he has played in 45 career games with 27 starts, also posting 242 career tackles, 11 career sacks, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble.

How all of these players continue to build upon their draft stock when the 2023 season schedule opens against Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 2 will be something to watch.
