When we last saw Max Scherzer, he was celebrating winning his second World Series title as the Texas Rangers won the title in five games over one of Mad Max's former teams, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In the process, he became just the fourth former Tigers player to earn multiple World Series championships, adding to his 2019 title with the Washington Nationals (Note: special assistant to the general manager Ian Kinsler also won his second World Series ring, the first as a player with the Boston Red Sox in 2018).

Although Scherzer is looking more and more like a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame, as the right-handed pitcher has won three Cy Young Awards, is an eight-time MLB All-Star, thrown two no-hitters, led the league in wins four times and the National League in strikeouts three times, it's hard to keep up with him and the other former Mizzou standouts in the pros.

Scherzer alone has played for the Rangers, Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, Nationals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and New York Mets. That's all since 2006, when he was the 11th-overall pick of the 2006 MLB Draft, Missouri's first-ever MLB first-round selection.

So we're here to help. As baseball players prepare to report for 2024 spring training, football players start thinking about what's next, and basketball players gear up for their stretch run, here's a look at who's active in the major North American sports leagues and where:
