No. 3 Missouri Gymnastics Falls In SEC Opener to No. 4 Alabama
The No. 3 Missouri Tigers are 3-0 through the early part of the gymnastics season. The Tigers are in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Friday night to take on the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC opener for both schools.
The Tigers have scored 197.150 in each of its three opening meets, defeating Lindenwood, Southeastern Missouri and Northern Illinois.
After opening the season ranked No. 12 in the WCGA Preseason Poll, Mizzou rose up the rankings to No. 3 with the third-best score of any team on opening weekend. Mizzou achieved its ranking by securing the No. 3 spot on floor, No. 4 ranking on beam, No. 10 on vault and No. 16 on bars.
