Cody Schrader Out of NFL Combine With Hamstring Injury
Missouri running back Cody Schrader will not return to drills today due to an injury to his right hamstring. Schrader sustained the injury during his second attempt at the 40-yard dash. The standout senior running back only competed in two events before his withdrawal from the drills.
Schrader, who finished his senior season with over 1800 all purpose yards and 14 touchdowns, was projected by many to go as soon as early the third day of the NFL Draft. The running back is no stranger to adversity, as he battled through injury his final season at Mizzou, becoming a Doak Walker finalist and producing his best season to date.

Schrader is the second Tiger to face an injury at the NFL Combine, with teammate Ennis Rakestraw Jr. suffering a groin injury that similarly saw him only complete two drills. Looking to get theirs names called in late April, Schrader and Rakestraw Jr. will get another opportunity to showcase their talents at Missouri's Pro Day alongside their Mizzou teammates.
