Missouri's Brett Norfleet Makes SEC All-Freshman Team
Missouri's Brett Norfleet landed the sole tight end spot on the prestigious SEC All-Freshman team.
Norfleet finished his first collegiate season with 17 receptions for 195 yards (11.5 yards per catch) and three touchdowns in 11 games.
Norfleet's first score was against LSU, and he caught his next two in the same game when the Tigers crushed the Arkansas Razorbacks 48-14 in the regular season finale.
The 6-foot-7, 235-pound tight end certainly has the size to emerge as a red zone threat in the future. The No. 9 Tigers have shocked the college football world in 2023, and as they continue to grow next season, Norfleet has proven that he can shine with them as well.
Nevertheless, Missouri has one more game this season for Norfleet to continue to showcase his potential, as the Tigers will face the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl Classic on Dec. 29.
