Missouri ended its historic regular season on an extremely high note this past Friday, as they dismantled Arkansas 48-14 on their own field. This victory helped the Tigers move up from No. 10 to No. 9 in the AP Poll and they could also rise once again in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday night.

The Southeastern Conference recognized the Tigers' efforts and awarded three of their players with weekly awards on Monday.

Missouri running back Cody Schrader took home the SEC's Co-Offensive Player of the Week award after posting a career high of 217 rushing yards and added a touchdown. Nevertheless, Schrader wasn't used as often in the second half due to the large margin, but he tallied 192 of those yards by halftime. Schrader's eight yards per carry were the highest of his Missouri career.

The SEC rushing leader entered rivalry weekend as a Burlsworth Trophy finalist and a Doak Walker Award semifinalist. His performance should help his case for the prestigious honors.

Missouri has multiple players and coaches up for yearly awards, but linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper, who's a Butkus Award finalist, didn't suit up against Arkansas due to injury. Triston Newson started in place of Hopper and shined by recording a career-high 15 tackles, including two for loss, and recovering two fumbles. Newson was recognized as the SEC's Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts.

Newson wasn't the only defensive Tiger that received a weekly honor though, as Jay Jernigan holds rivalry weekend's SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week title. Jernigan made his first career fumble recovery one he'll certainly never forget, as he returned it 10 yards for a touchdown.

Other winners this week:

Co-Offensive Player of the Week: Schrader is splitting the award with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, who led the Crimson Tide to a game-of-the-year-esque win over Auburn, as he recorded 366 all-purpose yards and two touchdown passes. The latter score came on a 31-yard fourth-and-goal pass to go up 27-24 with 32 seconds remaining.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Newson is splitting the award with Kentucky linebacker J.J. Weaver who was the most valuable player in the Governor's Cup 24-21 upset over No. 10 Louisville. Weaver recorded eight tackles and two fumble recoveries, including a strip sack.

Co-Special Teams Player of the Week: Kentucky wide receiver/kick returner Barion Brown recorded 250 all-purpose yards, including a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter; Ole Miss punter Fraser Masin punted a career-high eight times for a career-high 345 yards, with six of them landing inside the 20-yard line.

Offensive Lineman of the Week: Tennessee's Dayne Davis helped the Vols amass 617 yards of offense, and he didn't allow a single sack or quarterback hit.

Co-Freshman of the Week: Georgia linebacker CJ Allen tied for a game-high in tackles with eight in the Bulldogs' 31-23 win over Georgia Tech; Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor helped pave the way for Milroe and the offense to rack up 451 total yards.
