The final College Football Playoff rankings, AP and Coaches Polls were released for the final time before bowl season kicks off.

The 10-2 Missouri Tigers didn't participate in Saturday's SEC Championship game due to their previous losses to Georgia and LSU. However, their No. 9 ranking in the final CFP rankings solidifies them a spot to play a New Year's Six Bowl.

Missouri will be facing No. 7 Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN

Missouri also remained at the No. 9 spot in the AP and Coaches Polls for the second consecutive week, after its dominant 48-14 victory over Arkansas on Nov. 24.

Missouri had its best season since 2014. The Tigers have been among the most surprising teams in all of college football, as they have several players and coaches up for major conference and national awards.

Who knows what next season will behold, as Missouri has emerged as a threat in the college football world.
