There was a record set during the Missouri wrestling meet on Sunday, the kind that reflected on both teams competing at the Hearnes Center. With the No. 3 Tigers dominating, and No. 21 Arizona State managing to post just two wins, and 133 and 149 pounds, the 39-6 final was the most lopsided loss in Sun Devils history.

After redshirt junior Noah Surtin (125) opened the meet with a fast start, pinning his opponent in 1:38, Mizzou never trailed. With redshirt sophomore Josh Edmond following with a 14-3 major decision, (141) returned to dual competition with a major decision, 14-3, and redshirt senior Brock Mauller (157) winning on a 21-5 technical fall, the Tigers led 15-6 at intermission.

Things didn't get any better for the visitors as Keegan O'Toole (165), Clayton Whiting (184), Colton Hawks (197) and Zach Elam (285) all notched big wins.

It was the dual-meet opener for both teams. The Tigers will open their conference schedule Dec. 1 against No. 20 Oklahoma.
