NC State freshman running back Michael Allen is becoming a reliable part of NC State's offense.

Prior to the last two games, the freshman from Greenville, North Carolina had carried the ball in only one contest this season. Over the last two weeks, Allen has an impressive 113 yards rushing on 19 carries (5.9 yards per attempt).

Outside forces have played a part in when Allen has and has not taken the field, as the Wolfpack has been forced to shift players in and out of the lineup during an injury-riddled campaign.

Allen is making the most of his chances and is excited to take the field against Louisville on Saturday.
