Fall Camp Practice #5
There's encouraging news in the offensive backfield for Nebraska.
Transfer running back Markese Stepp, recovering from offseason foot surgery, appears to be "100 percent and ready to roll," Nebraska offensive coordinator Matt Lubick said after Wednesday morning's practice.
Quarterback Adrian Martinez was on the receiving end of praise from tight ends coach Sean Beckton, who said he's seeing a "night and day" difference in Martinez's mechanics and leadership. He's "demanding a lot" of himself and his teammates, Beckton remarked.
