News and Quotes From Nebraska Fall Camp Practice No. 11
Less than three weeks before Nebraska football's season opener, the Huskers went through their 11th practice of fall camp Friday, and the focus afterward was on the defense.
Defensive coordinator Tony White indicated the playbook on his side of the ball is still a work in progress. "We're going to take this last time remaining and make sure we know what we're doing. ... We have plenty of film of what we're running, so now we're going back through and seeing what can we do really fast and physical, what can we add, what can we take out, so that way guys can just go out there and play."
Also speaking to the press were linebackers Chief Borders, John Bullock and Jimari Butler and their position coach, Rob Dvoracek.
The first major scrimmage of fall camp will take place Saturday.
