As part of the 100th anniversary celebration of Memorial Stadium, Nebraska Athletics is opening the historic East Stadium entrance to fans on Friday, Oct. 20, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fans will have the chance to get a picture taken under the original stadium rotunda. Professional photographers will be there to take photos of families and groups free of charge, the university said Friday in a news release.

Parking will be available in the Memorial Mall/Memorial Loop on the east side of the stadium. Fans should enter the stadium through Gate 20.

The event comes 100 years after the stadium's dedication on Oct. 20, 1923. The Memorial Stadium centennial commemorative book and an assortment of commemorative stadium bench wood items will be available for purchase in the East Stadium lobby.
