Coach Scott Frost confirmed Monday that offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka will miss the rest of the season because of the knee injury he suffered Saturday night against Michigan.

The true freshman from Elkhorn started the last two games at left tackle after the Huskers shuffled their lineup on the O-line.

"I feel bad for him," Frost said. "These kids put forth so much time and effort, and Teddy has improved leaps and bounds since he got here."

With the team coming off a bruising game and preparing to play its eighth consecutive game without an off week, Monday's practice was a no-pads affair. Frost said, however, that the players still have "plenty of gas" and are "dialed in" heading into Saturday's game at Minnesota.

In Minneapolis, Gophers coach P.J. Fleck announced that Trey Potts will miss the rest of the season due to an unspecified ailment. Potts had taken over at running back after the season-ending injury to Mohamed Ibrahim.
