Sunday morning's Nebraska Football Road Race, the annual fundraiser by Husker players to fight pediatric brain cancer, drew a field of about 750 participants.

This year's event was moved to Father's Day from its usual July slot in honor of Andy Hoffman, founder of the Team Jack Foundation and father of brain cancer survivor Jack Hoffman. Andy Hoffman passed away in March, less than a year after himself being diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Members of the Husker football team were on hand Sunday morning to support the cause and cheer on those participating in the one-mile fun run and the 5K main event. The leadership team included players Adrian Martinez, Ryan Schommer, Austin Allen and Thomas Fidone.

Below is a one-minute video from Sunday's event, and an extensive photo gallery can be viewed at this link.
