Frost Says Huskers Focused on Slowing Talented Buckeyes

Nouredin Nouili gets scholarship; Myles Farmer dons Blackshirt

Coach Scott Frost says the Huskers have done a good job of  "locking in" on Saturday's Ohio State game even though there has been much speculation about his job security after Nebraska's loss last week to Purdue.

"We have to prepare well. We've done that. And then we have to play well," Frost said after Thursday's Nebraska football practice. "I think we've played well, but we've been talking for a few weeks now about making the key play that matters the most. If you're ever going to win a game like this, you're going to have to make some key plays."

He said the Buckeyes' offense is loaded with talent and is anything but one-dimensional: "If you try to stop something, they're going to beat you with something else. You just have to play a sound, solid game."

Chase Contreraz will be the Huskers' starter at placekicker for a second consecutive week. "He did a great job of earning it last week," Frost said. "...He had a confident look in his eye, and that gives me confidence."

Frost announced that walk-on Nouredin Nouili has been placed on scholarship after starting the last four games at left guard, and the Huskers revealed on Twitter that safety Myles Farmer has earned a Blackshirt.
