Yooooooo, watch the above video before reading.

I think about this subject a lot. Is our fanbase really that nice? My dad is. My sister is. My other sister kind of is.

BUT

My brother stands up during games while getting yelled at to sit down because he "paid the same price for his tickets" Now, I'm not saying he's wrong. I'm a stander too. But is that nice?

Are we only nice to other fans? Because if that's the case then it's just a poorly painted facade that we put up because we don't want Idaho State to know who we truly are. I'd be tempted to argue that this is worse than being a jerk.

At least with my brother you know what you're dealing with.

I don't think we are as nice as we once were. The main cause is social media. Lotsa keyboard warriors out there looking to start some shit online. It's how the world is now. More access and avatars to hide behind mixed with beers, bad attitudes or both isn't going to make a good day for anyone.

And let's be honest, it's a lot easier to be kind and courteous when you're winning.

Do you guys think I'm right? Let me know. I could be wrong, if I am come yell at me on Twitter.
