Two Football Huskers Make Academic All-District Team

Two Nebraska football players were honored Thursday as members of the 2020-21 Academic All-District VII Football Team.

Defensive lineman Ben Stille and quarterback Adrian Martinez are first-team selections and now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. 

Stille is a first-team All-District selection for the second consecutive season. He carries 3.31 GPA while working on a master’s degree in nutrition and health sciences.

It is the first All-District award for Martinez, who has graduated with a degree in management and carries a 3.50 GPA.

Nebraska has a national-best 341 Academic All-America honorees, including 70 first-team selections in football.
