All Huskers
Zac Taylor came to Nebraska from Butler Community College in Kansas and won the starting quarterback job in 2005, Bill Callahan's second season as the Huskers' head coach.
His first season ended on a high note as the Huskers dominated the heavily favored Colorado Buffaloes on the road, 30-3, and then upset Michigan in the Alamo Bowl.
The following year, he was named the Big 12 Conference's offensive player of the year after setting a multiple school single-game, single-season and career passing records.
His official Nebraska bio can be found here, and one of his notable performances is revisited at this link.
