Nebraska Athletics

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule discussed his expectations for the Huskers' young quarterbacks and more after Thursday morning's practice, the third session of 2024 spring drills.

Nebraska returns starter Heinrich Haarberg, but highly touted freshmen Dylan Raiola and Danny Kaelin both signed over the winter and are taking part in spring ball.

"I'm expecting them both to be ready to start," Rhule said of the two freshmen. "We have three quarterbacks on scholarship. I need three quarterbacks who can start. So, high expectations."

Several players also spoke during the post-practice press conference. Below are links to what was said, as well as reporters' observations from an early portion of practice that was open to the media. Asterisk indicates item may require a subscription. | Practice schedule
