Visit season is picking up steam for teams across the nation including the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who have a 2026 prospect coming to town today by the name of Ian Premer.

Premer is a 6-foot-6, 205-pound prospect who plays wide receiver and defensive back at Great Bend High School in Great Bend, Kansas. Premer has offers from Nebraska, Kansas, Tennessee and others, and he spoke with HuskerMax about his offer from the Huskers.

“The Nebraska offer means a lot to me with it being my second offer,” Premer stated.

He has spoken to a specific coach the whole time since being offered.

“I talked to the head recruiter Keith Williams and that conversation went great. I have talked to him a couple more times since then.”

Williams has been a great asset in the recruiting scene for Nebraska as I have spoken to many people who have said nothing but great things about him.

Nebraska's rich football history stands out to Premer. “Something that makes Nebraska special for me is how storied of a program it is,” he said.

He also mentioned the passion of the fans. “When I think of Nebraska, I think of how impressive and dedicated the fan base is.”

He confirmed his visit for April 11th and said he hopes to provide us an update about how it went.
