Who's That Wildcat: WR Jordan Mosley
WR Jordan Mosely
Height: 6'0" Weight: 190 lbs
Hometown: Mobile, AL
High school: McGill Toolen
Why he chose Northwestern:
Mosley told Rivals that "this is the best decision for [him] athletically and academically. It really wasn't a hard decision because of what they offer all around."
Power Five Offers:
Tennesse, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech
Group of Five Offers:
Troy, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Coastal Carolina, Central Michigan
Evaluation:
Mosley is a receiver with track-level speed that translates to both his route running and the flashes he showed on the defensive end at the high school level. He uses his speed to blow by cornerbacks on the outside and has shown he can make some pretty impressive recoveries on the defensive side of the ball as well.
Mosley has great hands, in traffic and in the air, despite his size limitations. He’s very adept at making plays after the catch and has been able to create something out of nothing because of his athleticism and overall physical tools.
Playing time projection:
Northwestern has no shortage of options at the receiver spot. However, Mosley will likely get an opportunity to fight his way into serious playing time as a true freshman. Mosley has the talent and potential to become a go-to option at the receiver position in his time at Northwestern.
