Notre Dame Women's Basketball 2023-24 Schedule Released
Notre Dame women’s basketball has released its full 2023-24 schedule. The team’s non-conference schedule has been public for several weeks but the ACC just released its league slate on Tuesday.
The non-conference highlights include the season-opening game against South Carolina on Nov. 6 in Paris, France. It will be the first ever college basketball game played in Paris. The Irish will also face Illinois in Washington, D.C. in the second annual Citi Shamrock Classic on Nov. 18 and close their November slate at Tennessee in the first ACC/SEC Challenge on the 29th.
Notre Dame will face UConn on Jan. 27 in Storrs, Conn. It will mark the 53rd all-time meeting between the two women’s basketball powerhouses. UConn leads the all-time series 39-14, but the two teams have split the last six series, with Notre Dame winning the most recent game 74-60 in December of 2022.
The Fighting Irish open ACC play on New Year’s Eve at Syracuse. That game is one of nine games that are scheduled to be broadcast on the ACC Network. Other conference road games are at Pittsburgh, Virginia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Florida State, Duke, and Boston College.
The Irish play their ACC home opener against North Carolina on Jan. 7. The other conference home opponents are Boston College, Miami, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, NC State, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Louisville. The home game against Louisville on March 3 will conclude the regular season.
