Notre Dame Football Scrimmage Highlights

Notre Dame released highlights from its final scrimmage of the spring

Notre Dame had its final huge scrimmage of the spring on Saturday, and following the session - which the Irish offense won according to head coach Marcus Freeman - the Irish released highlights from the session.

Here are those highlights, with a description of what you're looking at listed underneath.

Here is a look at some of the action:

*** The video starts with veteran cornerback Cam Hart (#5) walking out of the tunnel.

*** Offensive linemen Tosh Baker (#79), Blake Fisher (#54), Joe Alt (#76) and Rocco Spindler (#50) come out of the tunnel.

*** After showing some clips of players, the first snap we see is freshman QB Kenny Minchey (#8) executing a quarterback sneak. 

*** Running back Gi"Bran Payne (#13) makes DT Jason Onye (#47) miss in space.

*** Walk on defensive end Kobi Onyiuke (#45) tackles WR Jayden Thomas (#83) in front of Chance Tucker (#18).

*** QB Tyler Buchner (#12) hits wide receiver Lorenzo Styles (#4) on a corner route near the sideline between CB Benjamin Morrison (#20) and safety DJ Brown (#2).

*** Running back Audric Estime (#7) runs over LB Jack Kiser (#24) and safety DJ Brown (#2).

*** Left tackle Joe Alt (#76) vs Vyper Jordan Botelho (#12).

*** Vyper Josh Burnham (#40) and two more defensive linemen swarm QB Steve Angeli (#18) for the sack.

*** Freshman WR Jaden Greathouse (#19) makes a tremendous leaping catch up the seam.

*** Running back Audric Estime (#7) takes on linebacker JD Bertrand (#27).

*** Defensive tackle Rylie Mills breaks the huddle.

*** Wideout Rico Flores Jr. (#17) shows excellent field awareness to haul in a sideline pass from QB Steve Angeli (#18).

*** Vyper Josh Burnham (#40), linebacker Drayk Bowen (#34) and defensive tackle Alexander Ehrensberger (#90) stone running back Chase Dixon (#26).  

*** Slot receiver Chris Tyree (#2) makes a tremendous grab up the sideline against LB JD Bertrand (#27), who was in great position. The ball was thrown by QB Sam Hartman (#20).

*** QB Tyler Buchner (#12) hands off to Audric Estime (#7) with tight end Davis Sherwood (#38) making a key block.

*** Zak Yoakam (#92) with the kick.

*** QB Kenny Minchey (#8) races into the end zone for a touchdown.

*** Running back Gi'Bran Payne (#13) gets into the open field.

*** Linebacker Preston Zinter (#26) brings down running back Chase Dixon (#26).

*** Tight end Justin Fisher (#23) makes the grab before being hauled down by Isaiah Dixon (#26).

*** LB Jack Kiser (#24) closes in on Audric Estime (#7).

*** Quarterback Sam Hartman (#10) ends the scrimmage with a touchdown run.
