The 2023 season isn't over yet, but with signing day right around the corner and the transfer portal heating up it's a good time to look at the Notre Dame scholarship situation for the 2024 season.

Over the next month there will be players that either join the portal, head to the NFL or otherwise be removed from the roster. The 2024 scholarship roster reflects the current 2024 commits, who have yet to sign. 

As the numbers below show, Notre Dame is still way over the 85 scholarship limit. That means at least 9 players must be removed from the roster without any additions. For every portal player that is added, or current scholarships are handed out to walk-ons, another player must be removed from the current chart.

As players either leave the roster or are added they will be added to this chart below.

Here is the current Notre Dame coaching staff:

Defensive Coordinator: Al Golden (Linebackers)
Special Teams Coordinator: Marty Biagi

Quarterbacks: Gino Guidugli
Running Backs: Deland McCullough
Offensive Line: Joe Rudolph

Defensive Line: Al Washington
Linebackers: Max Bullough (GA)
Cornerbacks: Mike Mickens
Safeties: Chris O'Leary
