Notre Dame running back Audric Estime has earned yet another All-America honor, this time earning second-team status from the Associated Press. Estime has now been named a second-team All-American by the AP, CBS Sports, The Athletic and Pro Football Focus.

Estime had a breakout season for Notre Dame in 2022 when he rushed for 920 yards and 11 touchdowns, but he became one of the nation's best backs in 2023. Estime rushed for 1,341 yards and 18 touchdowns, which set an all-time Notre Dame record for rushing touchdowns.

The New Jersey native set the tone early, rushing for over 100 yards in three of the first four games of the season, and he was just five yards short in the blowout win over Navy to kick off the season. His 80-yard touchdown run sparked a struggling Notre Dame offense in the team's 45-24 road win over NC State.

Estime finished the season just as strong, rushing for at least 100 yards in three of the final four games. He went for 114 yards against Pittsburgh and 115 yards against Wake Forest, but he saved his best for last. Estime racked up 238 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries in the team's 56-23 regular season ending victory over Stanford.

His 238 yards were the 4th best single-game mark in Notre Dame history and his four scores were the 3rd best single-game mark.

Estime becomes the first Notre Dame running back since Reggie Brooks in 1992 to earn multiple All-American honors. Even if he doesn't play in the bowl game, Estime will finish his career ranked 11th all-time in rushing yards (2,321), 7th in rushing touchdowns (29) and 9th in 100-yard rushing games (9).
