Notre Dame (9-3) inched up in this week’s US LBM AFCA Coaches Poll. The Fighting Irish moved up one spot to No. 16 after Saturday’s 56-23 win over Stanford.

The top four spots in this week’s rankings are occupied by the only four remaining unbeaten Power Five teams in the nation. Georgia holds in the top spot after completing an unbeaten regular season with a 31-23 rivalry win over Georgia Tech. Michigan moves from No. 3 and back to No. 2 after its win over Ohio State.

Washington moved up two spots to No. 3 after its last second win over Washington State and Florida State is up a spot to No. 4 after its win over Florida. All four of those teams are 12-0 heading into the conference championship games next weekend.

Oregon is No. 5 after handling Oregon State to close the season. The Ducks’ lone loss this season is to Washington. Those teams get a rematch in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Ohio State drops from No. 2 to No. 6 after its first loss of the season to the Wolverines.

Texas and Alabama remain No. 7 and 8, respectively, with Missouri and Penn State each up a spot in the respective 9 and 10 spots in the poll. Former No. 9 Louisville (10-2) falls to No. 14 after an upset loss to Kentucky. Oregon State took a six-spot tumble to No. 21 after its loss to Oregon.

Kansas State is the only team to fall out of the rankings this week after being upset by Iowa State to end the regular season. James Madison rejoined the poll at No. 25.
