Notre Dame Football Rightfully Roasted on Social Media Following Epic Loss

Social media reacted to Notre Dame's epic loss to Northern Illinois and didn't hold back

There are almost no words for what happened Saturday when Northern Illinois walked into Notre Dame Stadium and pushed the Fighting Irish around for an afternoon.

In year three of the Marcus Freeman era it was supposed to be College Football Playoff or bust. Now the program looks to pick up the pieces after a truly embarrassing loss that shows the Notre Dame football program isn't nearly in the place almost all of us thought it was just a day or two ago.
