Elite Running Back Gideon Davidson Puts Notre Dame In His Top 10 List

Notre Dame has already thrown out several offers to the nation's best running backs in the 2025 class, and one of those backs - Lynchburg (Va.) Christian Academy star Gideon Davidson - placed Notre Dame in his Top 10 schools list.

The Fighting Irish made the list along with Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan, USC, Tennessee, Oregon, Penn State, Colorado and Iowa State.

Davidson is a talented back that is ranked as the nation's No. 19 overall player and No. 1 running back in the 2025 class according to 247Sports. He's a consensus Top 100 running back at the moment and he has an impressive offer list. 

The 6-0, 190-pound sophomore was named an All-State player as a running back and a defensive back after the 2022 seasons. As a freshman, the talented runner racked up 1,241 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns while averaging 11.1 yards per carry. He was named to MaxPreps Sophomore All-American team.

Davidson has offers from the Irish, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC, Tennessee, Penn State, South Carolina, Maryland, Louisville, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Iowa State.
