Brian Kelly and Brian Polian Talk About Landing Tyler Buchner

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly and recruiting coordinator Brian Polian both talked about landing quarterback Tyler Buchner

Arguably the top player in the Notre Dame 2021 recruiting class is San Diego, Calif. quarterback Tyler Buchner.

Like many players around the country and in the Notre Dame class, Buchner had to choose whether to enroll at Notre Dame in January or play his senior season in the spring. Head coach Brian Kelly talked about how that conversation went with the members of the 2021 class, including Buchner.

Buchner committed to Notre Dame in the spring of his sophomore season. This came after he thrived at a Notre Dame camp. He was the only quarterback offer in the class to receive an offer.

Polian went into some detail about what the staff saw from Buchner in that camp that led them to choosing him as the must-get signal caller in the 2021 class.
