Notre Dame Coaches On The Road - May 19th

A look at where the Notre Dame football coaches will be as they continue hitting the recruiting trail

Notre Dame coaches are back on the road tomorrow and they are checking in on some big time prospects. The Irish staff will be by the high schools of a number of the top commits in the class, and also some elite must-get players in both the 2024 and 2025 classes.

Here is where I expect the staff to be on Friday.

Gerad Parker, Offensive Coordinator - Irish offensive coordinator Gerad Parker will be out to check in on five-star quarterback and Notre Dame commit CJ Carr. Carr is doing serious recruiting work for Notre Dame in both the 2024 and 2025 classes. Parker will also head over to Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's, which is the home of talented 2026 tight end Jack Janda.

Chansi Stuckey, Wide Receivers - Stuckey is one of two Notre Dame coaches that will be in the Chicago area on Friday. Stuckey will head over to Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South, which is the home of standout wide receiver commit Cam Williams. Stuckey will also head over to Geneva (Ill.) High School, which is the home of elite 2025 wide receiver Talyn Taylor. Williams was an absolute must-get in the 2024 class from Chicago, and the Irish landed him. Taylor is every bit as important to the 2025 class.

Gino Guidugli, Quarterbacks - Guidugli will be on the East Coast checking out Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic, which is the home of 2025 quarterback Blake Hebert. The 6-3, 215-passer already has offers from Ole Miss, Iowa, North Carolina, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Rutgers. Hebert was a high school teammate of current Notre Dame freshman Preston Zinter. He's a talented young passer with a big frame and a powerful arm.

Deland McCullough, Running Backs - The Irish running backs coach will be at Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert, which is the home of physical running back Xavier Robinson. The 6-2, 225-pound rusher had over 2,500 rushing yards last season and is scheduled for a June official visit to Notre Dame.

Joe Rudolph, Offensive Line - The Irish offensive line coach will be in Pittsburgh and West Virginia checking in on a number of top schools and linemen.

Al Golden, Defensive Coordinator - Golden will be in Pennsylvania checking in on three big time prospects in both the 2024 and 2025 classes. Golden is expected to head to Philadelphia (Pa.) Monsignor Bonner, which is the home of big time defensive end Mylachi Williams. The Irish have been charging hard with Williams in the last month. Golden will also head over to Philadelphia powerhouse St. Joseph's, which is the home of big time 2025 linebacker Anthony Sacca. He is a big time talent in the 2025 class, and his father - Tony Sacca - was a college teammate of Golden's at Penn State. Golden will also head over to Imhotep to check in on big time 2025 defensive end Zahir Mathis.

Al Washington, Defensive Line - The Irish defensive line coach has a big day ahead of him, and a very important day. Washington will be in Chicago checking in on some big time defensive linemen. He'll head over to St. Ignatius, the home of elite five-star defensive tackle Justin Scott, who is an incredibly important player for Notre Dame, who cannot afford to miss out on Scott. I also expect Washington to check in on a number of the big time 2025 defensive linemen.

Mike Mickens, Cornerbacks - Mickens will be in Ohio at Cincinnati Moeller, which is the home of Notre Dame 2024 cornerback commit Karson Hobbs.

Chris O'Leary, Safeties - The Irish safeties coach will be in two parts of the country checking in on two very important 2025 prospects. O'Leary will be in North Carolina at Monroe High School, which is the home of big time athlete Jordan Young. Young is a big time talent at both safety and wide receiver, and the Irish are making a hard push for him. Young visited Notre Dame in March. O'Leary will also head to Shaker Heights (Ohio) High School, which is the home of Trey McNutt, another top target for the Irish in the 2024 class.

Marty Biagi, Special Teams - Biagi will be in both Arkansas and Alabama checking in on 2024 prospects. He'll head over to Jonesboro (Ark.) Valley View to check in on talented linebacker Brian Huff, who will be visiting Notre Dame in June. Biagi will also head over to Theodore (Ala.) High School, which is the home of athletic linebacker Cam Pruitt.
