Notre Dame Commits Set For Thursday Night Action To Kick Off Week Nine

Previewing the three Notre Dame commits in action on Thursday night

On Thursday, high school football action will get things kicked off. There will be three Notre Dame commits in action, including 2024 offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp, linebacker Teddy Rezac and 2025 defensive tackle Davion Dixon.

Here is when, and how to watch each Irish commit. Even when Notre Dame is on a bye week, the action never stops. Make sure to tune into a sneak peak of the future of Notre Dame football in action.

OL ANTHONIE KNAPP - ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Roswell (7-1) at Sprayberry (4-3) (Marietta, Ga.)

Game Time: Thursday (10/19) at 7:30 PM ET

The Roswell offense exploded for 545 yards and nine offensive touchdowns during the team’s 70-14 victory over Pope last Friday. It will now be a short turnaround for the 7-1 Hornets squad who will travel to Sprayberry (4-3) on Thursday. Sprayberry is coming off of a 38-14 victory over Johns Creek last week.

So far this season the Roswell offense has been absolutely dominant, averaging 52 points per contest. As an offense, they are averaging 172 passing yards per game, as well as 233 on the ground. They have already scored 50 offensive touchdowns this season.

Roswell dominated Sprayberry 49-7 last season. The Hornets look primed to make some noise heading towards playoff time.

DT DAVION DIXON (2025) - MIAMI (Fla.) PALMETTO

Matchup: Palmetto (6-1) vs Dr. Krop (4-3) (Miami, Fla.)

Game Time: Thursday (10/19) at 7:30 PM ET

Palmetto pushed their winning streak to three games after their 42-34 victory over South Dade last Thursday. Through seven contests, the stingy Panthers defense is allowing just over 10 points per game defensively. They are led by Dixon, who has six sacks already in his first season with Palmetto.

They will be opposed by a Dr. Krop squad that has not played Palmetto since the 2017 season. In their most recent matchup, Palmetto came out on top 2814.

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

Matchup: Westside (8-0) vs Lincoln Northeast (0-8) (Omaha, Neb.)

Game Time: Thursday (10/19) at 7 PM ET

Stream Link: https://www.youtube.com/@warriortelevision3544

Rezac was an important member of a stifling defense that harassed a very strong Millard South squad last Friday night, winning 31-14. From his safety position, Rezac collected four total tackles and an interception. On the season, Rezac has recorded 31 total tackles, three tackles for loss and two interceptions. He has also broken up another five passes on top of also contributing on offense.

So far this season, Westside has been nothing short of dominant. During their eight game win streak to start the season, the Warriors are out scoring teams by a 387 to 40 point margin. There is a good chance that continues on Thursday night when they take on a less than stellar Lincoln Northeast squad.
