Talented 2025 Artesia (Calif.) Junipero Serra safety Tre’ Harrison is getting his first look at the Irish program this week while he spends multiple days on campus. It is his first school to any school.

It's very early in Harrison's recruitment, but Notre Dame is setting the bar high. He’s enjoying getting a deep look at the program.

"I’m actually in South Bend at the moment for an unofficial," Harrison told Irish Breakdown. "It’s going great, it’s the first visit I have ever taken so it’s all big and new for me.”

At the present moment, Notre Dame should be looked at as the clear leader. They have done a tremendous job to relay the message to Harrison and make him feel like a priority.

"Notre Dame has stood out the most in my recruiting journey so far, considering I’m only going into my junior years,” said Harrison. "They have stood out to me the most because of the high level accomplishments I can achieve with and without football in my career.

"They often put emphasis on competing and developing players which is something I like to value in day to day training in things like that,” he added.

A big reason for Harrison’s early interest is the coaching staff. They have steadily built a strong bond with the California native. That has continued during this trip.

"Coach (Chris) O’Leary and the rest of the staff stand out to me with their honesty on how the school truly is,” Harrison stated. "They’re all incredible.”

So far Notre Dame, Boston College and Colorado State have offered the California native. More promise to follow suit soon.

Harrison finished his sophomore campaign with 23 total tackles. He is also a standout track and field performer for Serra, posting a 10.92 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 22.60 seconds in the 200 meter. Harrison is also a tremendous student, boasting a 4.34 overall GPA.
