Notre Dame Targets Visiting Other Places In Week Eight

Highlighting several key Notre Dame targets visiting other schools this weekend

With Notre Dame on a bye week, fans are forced to watch other programs and some of the premier games across the country this weekend. That is the same for recruits, who are once again on the road to check out some of these notable games.

There are several key 2025 Notre Dame targets who will be on campus of other schools this weekend. It is two games in particular to keep a close eye on for Irish fans and supporters.

PENN STATE (7) at OHIO STATE (3)

It should be no surprise that Ohio State has a really nice recruiting weekend shaping up for their battle against the Nittany Lions. This will be a marquee matchup between two top schools, and the atmosphere should be electric.

Here are all the Irish targets expected on campus. It’s an impressive list.

LB/EDGE Justin Hill - Cincinnati (Ohio) Winston Woods

Notre Dame is very high on Hill with his ability to play along the second level or on the edge. Hill speaks well of the Irish, citing history and prestige around the program. There just has been no momentum over the last few months. Until Hill makes a visit, it just isn’t going to happen.

LB Anthony Sacca - Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep

Things have been in a very good place with Sacca, who has become a priority recruit for the Irish. Sacca last visited South Bend for the Ohio State game. As of today, Notre Dame, Penn State and the Buckeyes appear to be at the top of Sacca’s list. This is going to be a big recruitment for the future of the rover position.

CB Elbert Hill (2026) - Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban

Hill camped at Notre Dame this offseason, receiving an offer after a big performance. He may only be a 2026 recruit but he’s clearly a player the Irish staff likes. The Ohio native has the athleticism and physical profile to play either cornerback or safety on the next level.

S Trey McNutt - Cleveland (Ohio) Shaker Heights

McNutt just made the trip to Notre Dame for their big victory over USC, which was his third overall visit to campus. He is going to be a hard pull from the in-state Buckeyes but the Irish staff is not backing down. This will be an interesting one to watch.

DUKE (16) at FLORIDA STATE (4)

Florida State has had a really nice season so far, and recruiting momentum has followed. There is a nice list of talented recruits on campus this weekend, including several players who have been offered by the Irish.

Here are all the Notre Dame targets expected on campus. The talent heading down to Tallahassee is legitimate.

RB Ousmane Kromah - Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County

There has been communication between Notre Dame and Kromah in the past. Obviously the Irish already having two running backs committed in the 2025 class complicates things a bit but I imagine that Notre Dame will recruit Kromah until he tells them to stop calling. Trying to get him on campus will be their only chance.

DL Armondo Blount - Miami (Fla.) Central

Notre Dame spent some time on Blount, who is now committed to Miami. It was always going to be a tough pull begging Blount out of the Sunshine State. It just wasn’t going to happen.

DL Jarquez Carter - Newberry (Fla.) High School

Carter made his first trip to campus during the Blue-Gold Game this year. That allowed Notre Dame to gain some momentum with Carter, who has a personal relationship with defensive line commit Davion Dixon. Things have been pretty quiet over the last couple of months but appear Notre Dame is still in it.

CB Chris Ewald - Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep

Despite being committed to Michigan, Ewald has continued to take a lot of visits. He is letting his process play out, and still listening to schools. Notre Dame has offered him, although there is no traction there currently. There is a good chance that Ewald ends up with a different program in the end, it just won’t be Notre Dame more than likely.

CB Alex Graham - Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

There was some traction early with Graham, then he transferred to IMG Academy. Notre Dame has a lot of traction with some really good cornerbacks on the board right now. Obviously Graham isn’t one of them right now but that shouldn’t hurt them to continue reel in tremendous players at the position.

S Ivan Taylor - Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange

Taylor is a player that Notre Dame is very high on, and the feeling is mutual. In fact, Taylor is expected back on campus in South Bend next week for the game against Pittsburgh. That will be his third visit to Notre Dame overall. There is a good argument that Notre Dame is Taylor’s leader right now.
