"Notre Dame Will Be In It Until The Very End" For Elite Offensive Tackle Owen Strebig

Standout 2025 offensive tackle Owen Strebig updates his recruitment

Notre Dame is among the top offensive line producers in all of college football. They consistently attract some premier talent up front. The Irish staff has already done so in the 2025 recruiting class, with Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial offensive tackle Owen Strebig being right near the top of the board already.

According to Strebig, Notre Dame has already done a tremendous job early on in this recruitment. In fact, he already has a return visit planned to campus. It will be a part of a busy summer of traveling for Strebig.

"The recruiting process has been really good so far,” Strebig told Irish Breakdown. "I'm so blessed and fortunate to be in this position with so many great schools. Visit wise this summer, I stopped by USC and UCLA on the 15th. I'm also planning on visiting Notre Dame on June 22, Wisconsin on June 29th and Florida on July 29th.”

There’s no question that the Irish program is standing out tremendously. Along with his long list suitors, the sell of Notre Dame is very well understood and appreciated by Strebig.

"Notre Dame has been recruiting me well,” he explained. "Wisconsin, Penn State, Florida State, Florida, and USC have also been recruiting me as well.

"The relationship between us are outstanding,” Strebig continued. "Coach (Joe) Rudolph is a great person. The best part is, they don’t have to sell Notre Dame or Notre Dame football. I understand the history and how powerful a degree is from Notre Dame.”

An exact timeline to make a decision hasn’t been fully cemented by the Wisconsin native. No matter when it does happen, the Irish are sure to be right near the top for his services.

"Notre Dame will be in it until the very end, no doubt,” Strebig said.

The 6-8, 290-pound offensive tackle has received offers from the Fighting Irish, Michigan, USC, Florida, Penn State, Florida State, UCLA, Stanford, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nebraska, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Kansas and Indiana among others. Strebig is quickly becoming one of the elite level offensive lineman in the 2025 class.

Strebig is considered a four-star recruit across every major recruiting ranking. He currently sits as the No. 40 overall player and the No. 5 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class according to On3 ranking. The Wisconsin native is teammates of 2024 running back Corey Smith who Notre Dame was high on for a while.
