Jacy Sheldon Signs NIL Agreement with Sneaker Brand Crossover Culture
Ohio State Buckeyes graduate guard Jacy Sheldon has entered the shoe game.
Sheldon is one of five athletes making up the inaugural NIL class for the sneaker brand, Crossover Culture. Joining the Buckeyes’ leading scorer in signing with the company are Kentucky guard Rob Dillingham, Kentucky forward Jordan Burks and Kentucky commit Boogie Fland.
"It's great to be a part of the first group of athletes partnering with Crossover Culture," Sheldon said. "I think people are really going to like the new drop, and I can't wait to see what comes next."
This is not the first sponsorship for Sheldon, who is already tied to Wings Over and Express. Sheldon’s deal was facilitated by Daniel David of Trending Talent.
Sheldon is the leading scorer for Ohio State, dropping in an average of 18 points per game. The Dublin, Ohio native was also a first-team All-Big Ten selection following her tremendous effort leading the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has had a tremendous season so far, accumulating 25 victories alongside just five losses. The Buckeyes also finished the 2023-24 campaign by hoisting the Big Ten regular-season title after a 67-51 victory over the Michigan Wolverines.
Sheldon and Ohio State now turn their attention to the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, which commences this weekend. The No. 2-seeded Buckeyes will open against the No. 15-seeded Maine Black Bears at 12 p.m. eastern on Friday, March 22.
Live coverage of the contest will air nationally on ESPN, as well as locally via the Ohio State Sports Network from Learfield.
