Dust off your controllers and get ready because the "Madden 24" player ratings were released Sunday.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have a pedigree for developing players into NFL Draft picks, producing the third-most all-time and the most first-round selections of any program in league history.

EA Sports' Madden ratings are calculated on a 0-100 scale for each individual attribute with more important categories by position getting factored into a player's overall rating. So, for example, throw power is a more important attribute for a quarterback than a kicker.

Here are the top-10 "Madden 24" ratings for Buckeyes in the NFL.

DE Nick Bosa, 98 overall

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa is fresh off his Defensive Player of the Year win, landing No. 8 overall on the Madden player rankings.

Last season, he recorded a league-leading 18.5 sacks while forcing two fumbles and was named a First Team All-Pro.

In his four-year career, Bosa is already up to 12th in 49ers franchise history for career sacks with 43.

Bosa's top three individual attributes are his 97 play recognition rating, 98 finesse moves rating and 99 awareness.

QB Joe Burrow, 95 overall

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is already a star in the NFL, ranking as the No. 2 signal-caller behind Kansas City Chiefs gunslinger Patrick Mahomes.

Burrow led the Bengals back to the AFC Championship game after a Super Bowl berth in 2022, completing 60.3 percent of his 606 pass attempts for 4,475 yards and 35 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions. Burrow ran for career highs 257 yards and five scores.

Though Mahomes bests Burrow in the throw power category, the three-year Buckeyes quarterback topped the reigning MVP in short, medium and deep throw accuracy.

DE Cameron Heyward, 93 overall

Even at 34 years old, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward is still getting it done at a high level.

Though he doesn't have the same quick step he had at Ohio State, as shown by his 71 speed and acceleration ratings, he was still a Pro Bowler last year after recording 74 tackles, 10.5 sacks and recovering a fumble. Heyward also batted down four passes at the line of scrimmage.

The 12-year Steeler will look to continue the success he's had since 2017 thanks in part to staying healthy. He's played a full season in four of the last six seasons.

WR Terry McLaurin, 92 overall

"Scary" Terry McLaurin has become one of the biggest security blankets in the NFL, while also being one of the most under-appreciated wide receivers in the league.

Entering his fifth season with the Washington Commanders, McLaurin has racked up 299 receptions, 4281 yards and 21 touchdowns. He has hauled in at least 77 passes, tallied at least 1,000 yards and four touchdowns in each of his last three seasons, but earned his first Pro Bowl nod last year.

McLaurin is tied with receivers Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown and Las Vegas Raiders' Davante Adams and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for the fifth-highest catch rating.

OLB Joey Bosa, 91 overall

The second member of the Bosa family checks in as the No. 5-highest-rated Buckeye in "Madden 24."

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is likely a top-10 candidate for Comeback Player of the Year after tearing a groin muscle and undergoing offseason surgery.

Prior to his five-game season in 2022, Joey Bosa had earned three-consecutive Pro Bowl bids and racking up 29.5 sacks in that time.

Joey Bosa is tied with Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald and Las Vegas Raiders' Maxx Crosby for the second-highest finesse move rating.

CB Marshon Lattimore, 90 overall

With Madden's ninth-best man coverage rating, New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore is in the same boat as Joey Bosa.

He was limited to just seven games last season after three-consecutive Pro Bowls. In that time, he had 29 tackles with an interception he returned for a touchdown and breaking up three passes.

In five of his first six seasons, Lattimore had at least 11 passes defended, picking off a pass in every year since getting drafted in 2017.

C Corey Linsley, 88 overall

Chargers' Corey Linsley boasts the highest pass block finesse rating of any center and seventh of any offensive linemen in the league, contributing to his 88 overall.

After snapping for quarterback Aaron Rodgers for seven years in Green Bay, Linsley has built a rapport with Justin Herbert the past two seasons. He was named a Second Team All-Pro in 2021.

Linsley's 90 pass block rating and 92 strength both top all centers.

CB Denzel Ward, 88 overall

The second cornerback in the former Buckeyes' top 10 is Cleveland Browns' Denzel Ward.

Ward has been one of the best in the league at adjusting on the ball in the air, evidenced by his 96 change of direction rating.

The 2018 first-rounder has been the definition of consistency in his career. In each of his first five seasons, he's had between 43 and 53 tackles, at least 10 passes defended and either two or three interceptions.

DE Chase Young, 85 overall

Commanders defensive end Chase Young is in dire need of a bounce-back season after tearing an ACL, but Madden remembered the dominance he exhibited prior to his injury.

The 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year is tied with Browns' Za'Darius Smith as the third-best left defensive end behind Dallas Cowboys' DeMarcus Lawrence and New Orleans Saints' Cameron Jordan.

The past two seasons Young has played 12 games, as opposed to his 15-game rookie season in which he recorded 44 tackles, 7.5 sacks, forcing four fumbles, recovering three and knocking down four passes.

WR Chris Olave, 84 overall

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave proved in his rookie season that he's top-25 pass-catcher in the NFL.

Derek Carr throwing passes to him probably helps his cause next season in his quest to build off of a first season that landed him fourth in the Offensive Rookie of the Year voting — an award won by college teammate Garrett Wilson.

Last year, Olave had 72 catches, 1,042 yards and four touchdowns as New Orleans' No. 1 receiving option. Getting Michael Thomas back from injury next season should help bump up Olave's numbers as well with defenses having to game plan for both Buckeyes.
