'A Really Easy One!' Joel Klatt Ranks Marvin Harrison Jr. As Top Pass Catcher in NFL Draft
Joel Klatt continues to make his feelings known about Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
The FOX analyst shared his list of the top-five receivers available in the 2024 NFL Draft during an episode of "The Joel Klatt Show" on Tuesday. Not only did Klatt include the Buckeyes pass catcher on his list, but he gave Harrison his top ranking.
"My number one pass catcher in this year's draft is a really easy one," Klatt said. "Let's not overthink it. We've known he was going to be the best pass catcher in this draft for a long time. It's Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State."
Of course, Klatt cited the numerous awards and accolades Harrison has received while playing for the Scarlet and Gray, including the 2024 Biletnikoff Award and his back-to-back All-American selections. However, Klatt also said there are plenty of other things to love about Harrison, especially when it comes to his metrics.
"Physically, he's way bigger than you would expect," Klatt said. "He's (six-foot-four), all of 205 (pounds), probably a little bit more...I think he's faster than people realize. He runs terrific routes. He's a technician in a lot of ways, understands the game and is a tireless worker.
Klatt wrapped up his thoughts on Harrison by listing some of the things he expects the soon-to-be NFL rookie to achieve over his career.
"He's going to be an All-Pro," Klatt said. "He's going to be a ten-time Pro Bowler if he stays healthy. He goes to the right spot, and it's on."
