OFFICIAL: 3-Star RB Sam Williams-Dixon Signs With Ohio State Buckeyes
The Ohio State Buckeyes are officially signing two running backs on Wednesday, but it's certainly special that one is a Columbus product in Pickerington North's Sam Williams-Dixon.
Williams was pursed by teams like Kentucky, Michigan State and Tennessee, but the Buckeyes allowed him to "feel this energy," and he's now officially signed.
"When I walk around that place, I just feel this energy," Williams-Dixon said. "I'm just happy there, everything is perfect when I go there. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, it's my dream to play for them and I finally get to do it!"
Williams-Dixon admitted he kept looking at other options during his recruitment, but "nothing compared" to the Ohio State.
"I wanted to see what was out there but nothing competed with Ohio State," he said. "I'm shutting it down. I'm excited to be done with it, excited to be locked in with the team I want to be with."

Williams-Dixon is joined by four-star running back James Peoples in the recruiting class. He praised his future Ohio State teammate early in the recruiting process as the two look to carve out a future in the OSU backfield.
"I think he's a tremendous player," Williams-Dixon said of Peoples. "I think he's the best in the country. I think he should be number one. Just look at his film, it's like, 'is he really a four-star?' He's underrated. And he does it in Texas, they're different down there."
The Buckeyes now have a potential hometown hero storyline at their fingertips with Williams-Dixon, who will look to put on for Columbus next season.
