OFFICIAL: 4-Star OL Ian Moore Signs With Ohio State Buckeyes
The Ohio State Buckeyes officially signed four-star New Palestine (Indiana) interior offensive lineman Ian Moore during Wednesday's early signing period.
Moore was pursued by programs like Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Florida State and others. Per 247Sports' rankings, he's the eight-best interior offensive lineman in the country and has the offers to show for it.
Here's what Moore said upon his commitment:
“First of all, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the coaches that have taken the time out of their schedules to recruit me and build a relationship with me,” Moore said in a note on Twitter. “With that said, I’d like to announce that I have committed to The Ohio State University.
“I’d like to thank the (Buckeyes’) coaching staff for blessing me with this opportunity. Y’all have made me feel like I have a second family. Can’t wait for the next chapter of my life with y’all."

Here's a scouting snippet from 247Sports about what Moore brings to the table:
"Has legitimate, verified measureables with the height and length to play college tackle," 247Sports wrote. "Does have the ability to play inside too if need be. Has several years of varsity experience and plays at a good high school program. As a result, we see him as a very safe, reliable, high floor prospect who will come in ready to compete from a size and technical standpoint.
While other signees will be receiving more attention than Moore on Wednesday, his official addition to the program is vital. He'll now look to carve out a role as early as next season.
