Ohio State WRs Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka Make Biletnikoff Award Watch List
Ohio State Buckeyes receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka are arguably two of college football's best skill-position players, let alone receivers.
This is why it was hardly a shock to anyone when the 2023 Preseason Biletnikoff Award Watch List was revealed Monday, and both Harrison Jr. and Egbuka made the cut. They were just two of 49 players that made the annual watch list, which included Penn State's Dante Cephus, and Minnesota's Corey Crooms Jr. and Elijah Spencer as the only three other receivers set to play in the Big Ten this season.
Of course, there can only be one winner, as Harrison Jr. and Egbuka will both be aiming to be the first Buckeye to win the award since the late Terry Glenn in 1995. If they're able to elevate their games this season even without C.J. Stroud at quarterback, they could both be in the running once the finalists for the award are announced in the near future.
Both Harrison Jr. and Egbuka finished in the top 10 in the receiving yards last season, with the former posting the sixth-most yards (1,263) and the latter recording the ninth-most yards (1,151). Harrison Jr. added 77 catches and 14 touchdowns while Egbuka posted 10 scores of his own.
With this pair leading the way, the Buckeyes will have arguably the best receiving corps in the country this season.
