Buckeyes WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Impressed at Ohio State's Pro Day

While the focus was on C.J. Stroud at Ohio State's Pro Day, Marvin Harrison Jr. was the star of the performance.
In this story:

The Ohio State Buckeyes are no strangers to elite receivers, with a long history of production from the position at the NFL level.

In the 2022 draft alone they produced a pair of first-round picks at the position, with Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave going back-to-back at picks No. 10 and 11 to the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints respectively.

That trend is set to continue in this draft as well with Jaxon Smith-Njigba seen by some as the top receiver in the class and seemingly a near-100 percent lock to hear his name called in the first round.

However, while those guys have been elite, there is another receiver on the Buckeyes' roster that isn't draft-eligible until 2024 but has had some analysts say he would go above all of them in a draft.

The receiver? Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison, who helped catch passes from C.J. Stroud at Ohio State's Pro Day, stole the show according to those in attendance.

One look at Harrison's numbers in 2022 and it is not hard to see the fascination with him as a prospect. As a sophomore Harrison recorded 77 receptions for 1,263 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns for a whopping 16.4 yards per catch.

While Harrison is not eligible to enter the draft until after the upcoming season, he is already viewed as a first-round caliber player. Now, he has one last season to raise his draft stock - and hopefully help lead the Buckeyes back to a national championship in the process.
