Ohio State Buckeyes Ranked No. 2 by College Football Playoff Committee in Latest List
The Ohio State Buckeyes have lost their spot as the best team in the country, according to the College Football Playoff (CFP)'s latest rankings.
For the first time since the debut list was released, the Buckeyes are not No. 1, having been slotted at No. 2 by the CFP on Tuesday evening.
The trend of Ohio State receiving the CFP's premiere ranking was broken, but another pattern remains intact. The Associated Press (AP) held firm on Sunday with their placement of the Buckeyes, giving the Scarlet and Gray the third spot on their list for the third week in a row.
