The countdown to the beginning of the college football season is well underway, as spring football is in the rearview mirror and summer workouts are on the horizon. At the same time, players and staff spend time at home with their families before heading back to campus to begin preparation.

No, it isn't August yet, but that shouldn't stop the Buckeye faithful from being up-to-date on ticket information for the upcoming season. Ohio State announced three key dates regarding the beginning of ticket sales for home games on Friday, giving fans an advanced notice on when they can expect to make their purchases.

Ohio State stated that starting on June 7 at 10 a.m. (EST), fans will be able to purchase the "pick 3 mini plan," which will allow them to buy a bundle of three games this season, starting with Youngstown State in Week 2 and Western Kentucky in Week 3. After fans pick one of those two games, they can proceed to choose between Maryland, Michigan State, and Minnesota for their final two games.

The article added that fans can expect for price to start at as low as $168 for the bundle. Then on June 13 at 10 a.m. (EST) single game ticket sales will begin for members of the Ohio State University Alumni Association, which will then be followed on June 16 at the same time for the rest of the public to begin purchasing single-game tickets.

Despite the season still being months out, kickoff times for two Ohio State have already been announced, as the Buckeyes' home game versus Michigan State on Saturday, November 11, will start at 7:30 p.m. While "The Game" in Ann Arbor versus Michigan will be a part of FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff," on Saturday, November 25.
