OFFICIAL: Buckeyes Sign 2024 OL Devontae Armstrong
On Wednesday, Ohio State football recruiting may have taken a strong step toward the biggest and - maybe - best offensive line haul in the class of 2024 with the signing of two-time state champion Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward state offensive lineman and Devontae Armstrong.
Devontae stands at 6-foot-6 and picked the Buckeyes over considerable national offers including Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Kentucky and Pitt among others.
Armstrong is one half of a twin tackle duo each listed just under 300 pounds, and both were offered by the in-state power back in January and each has frequented the program. Armstrong's brother, Deontae has also signed with the Buckeyes.
The two brothers made no secret about wanting to go to school and play football with each other.

The twin brothers helped St. Edward claim the Ohio Division 1 state championship as juniors in 2022, defending the program's 2021 title in the process of finishing as one of America's top high school programs per multiple outlets. Deontae played left tackle while Devontae worked at left guard next to his brother most times during their junior seasons.
The Armstrong twins could be a staple on the offensive line for Ohio State and Ryan Day for years beginning in 2024.
