TreVeyon Henderson Among 9 Ohio State Buckeyes OUT vs. Maryland Terrapins

The Ohio State Buckeyes will be without one of their starters against the Maryland Terrapins Saturday.
In this story:

The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes will be without starting running back TreVeyon Henderson when they face the Maryland Terrapins at Ohio Stadium Saturday.

Henderson's injury is undisclosed, and there's no timetable for his return. Ohio State has been rolling with three running backs in most of their games, and with Henderson out, it'll likely turn to Chip Trayanum, Miyan Williams and Dallan Hayden or Evan Pryor.

Trayanum is the Buckeyes' second-leading rusher with 146 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. Williams has racked up 73 yards and found the end zone twice on 19 carries.

Wide receiver Xavier Johnson has flanked quarterback Kyle McCord as well in some instances.

The Buckeyes will also be without cornerback Jyaire Brown, whose injury is also undisclosed at this time. Brown has played 22 snaps so far this season as a rotational piece to provide depth behind Denzel Burke, Davison Igbinosun and Jordan Hancock, among others.

Freshman wide receiver Nolan Baudo is also unavailable for the first time this season. He has not seen the field so far this season.

The rest of the injured players have been regulars on the Buckeyes' injury report: wide receivers Kyion Grayes and Reis Stocksdale, tight end Zak Herbstreit, linebackers Arvell Reese and Kourt Williams II and defensive lineman Will Smith.

The good news for the Buckeyes coming out of the bye week is that Marvin Harrison Jr.'s ankle injury is healed enough for him to go against Maryland.
